The purpose of this position is to manage projects and lead a team of IT AV professionals responsible for providing specialized technology related to live events both virtually and in-person, and enhanced audio video production tools and technology within spaces college-wide.
Compensation within the posted range is determined by a candidate's education level and/or years of experience in the field. Generally, employees are hired in the lower third of the scale.
Associates degree required and five (5) years' experience with coordination, planning and execution of technical aspects of large-scale events required. Three (3) years experience with modern audio visual and video production environments, editing techniques and software, complex AV multimedia equipment such as professional cameras, audio mixing boards, and live broadcast equipment required. Experience applying creative and technical videography and production skills in a wide variety of indoor and outdoor settings to successfully record video audio and stream live for events required. Ability to work some evenings and weekends, when necessary, required. Supervisory experience preferred.
College-wide responsibility to provide management and coordination of projects and oversee operations of Audio-Visual Support Team.
Supervise a team of AV technicians and ensure professional level audio visual presentation support and technical event coordination, recording and distribution of CCBC college wide and large-scale events, streaming and virtual meeting presentation, set up and production.
Monitor ticketing and inventory systems, attend events meetings and act as a liaison to ensure Technology Support Center procedures are followed, requests are prioritized, coordinated, and resolved to customer satisfaction.
Provide advanced research, troubleshooting and management of complex problems. Contribute information, direction and advice on technical matters relating to event production.
Coordinate and allocate appropriate resources to support all AV functions for CCBC; including upgrades of equipment, outsourcing of hardware repairs, asset inventory control, and unique events.
