Are you an AV nerd who also likes communicating with other people? Are you looking for a job where you get to do something different week-to-week? Are you a natural “helper” who is always looking for more ways to assist others?
About the Job
Fresh Tech Integrated is a family run commercial systems integrator specializing in performance audio-visual solutions for churches, casinos, and businesses, including performance audio, theatrical style lighting, broadcast and cinema video, projection and displays, automation and other fixed low-voltage installation products. As our business continues to expand, we are seeking a self-motivated and disciplined Field Service Technician with excellent communication skills to complement our team. In this key role, you will troubleshoot and provide technical support and service for systems, while providing professional white glove customer service skills for our clients. You will effectively and efficiently execute service calls, engage with escalated client needs, and assist with operational requirements and additional projects as assigned.
What It’s Like to Work at Fresh Tech
Working with us won’t be your boring run-of-the-mill corporate job; the last thing you will hear is “but that’s the way we’ve always done it.” If you’ve got an idea for improvement, we want to hear it! This also means that things can change fast. We implement good ideas quickly, so we need all of our team members to be flexible and quick learners to keep up! We live by our Immutable Laws, which are:
Honesty in Front- Honesty up front; even if it’s inconvenient. Speak plainly and truthfully.
Client Fanaticism- We are advocates for our clients; we love to partner with them to help them achieve their goals.
Fulfill Commitments- Keep verbal and written agreements. “Say what you mean and mean what you say.”
Innovative and Precise- We love to develop the perfect custom solution for our clients - no extra gear or unneeded complexity, just the exact right solution for each client.
Positive and Passionate- We choose positivity because we are passionate about what we do. No complaining without solutions!
Give the Benefit of the Doubt- We believe that everyone's actions stem from their unique perspectives, experiences, and circumstances, and we might make similar choices in their shoes.
The Up-Sides
• Our team works hard, but still enjoys a good work/life balance, as we do offer paid time off for our full-time employees. If you are tired of constant overtime, this job will be a breath of fresh air!
• Lots of opportunities for advancement as we grow!
• Creativity and innovation are always encouraged. Each system is perfectly tailored to be the right system for our clients, so there is no "standard model." We want your thoughts on how we can adapt to do something better!
• We have been told that we are very organized; while we don’t always feel like we are organized, we are always striving for improvement in this area to better serve our customers and have a better working environment for our team.
• We don’t just sell products, we make them too. Manufacturing products have been in our DNA since day 1!
The Down-Sides
• While we offer competitive wages, we focus on providing a fulfilling work-life balance and a supportive team environment. If you value job satisfaction and work-life balance over the highest salary, you’ll find a great fit with us.
• Because we are a small business, we can implement changes pretty quickly. Our team is not a good fit for someone who may not handle changes with ease.
• Because of our commitment to the “exact right solution” for every customer, our processes can get complicated, and a lot of what we do is not straightforward. We consider this an exciting challenge to overcome – but if you only want simple straightforward work – this is not the job for you.
• Because we are a small team, many of us fill multiple roles and pitch-in with other roles as we are able.
