The AV Integration Lead provides tactical leadership for ITC’s deployment and ongoing maintenance of Dartmouth AV solutions in campus classrooms, meeting rooms, and public assembly spaces. Under the direction of the AV Engineering Manager, the AV Integration Lead manages onsite activities of the integration team, interfaces and coordinates with other campus providers, and introduces work practice improvements to deliver and sustain quality AV solutions.

Dartmouth College is looking for an AV professional who continues to sharpen their AV integration skills while advancing project work with a wide range of clients, design professionals, and trades. As part of our Design and Engineering team, you’ll have the opportunity to build and validate the solutions that support a modern campus.
Physically mounts, hangs, terminates, and interconnects all AV equipment within AV systems according to design drawings.
Programs, configures, and calibrates equipment in AV systems for proper function.
Commissions built systems for quality assurance.
Develops and maintains required library of documentation including test results of AV system performance, as-builts, and AV network information.
Percentage of Time-50%
Engages with install team to improve system engineering and workmanship practices.
Manages installation team for AV projects.
Maintains vendor relationships in support of installation projects.
Manages AV inventory associated with AV projects.
Percentage of Time- 20%
Maintains system uptime through regular system maintenance and prompt service restoration.
Performs and assigns service tasks within the installation team.
Percentage of Time -10%
Training, Development & Leadership
Provide tactical leadership to ensure continuous improvement of installation practices.
Informs AV delivery strategy in partnership with ITC leadership.
Collaborates with internal and external teams to share information, build relationships, and accomplish shared goals.
Continuously develops subject matter expertise for current and future technologies

Required Qualifications - Education and Years Experience
Associate’s plus 3+ years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Associate’s degree plus 3-5 years’ related experience installing, configuring, and maintaining AV systems or equivalent combination of education and experience* Experience developing and improving work processes
Experience leading teams.
Experience managing inventory.-Knowledge of field cable handling and terminations
Demonstrated experience reading and understand AV schematics and renderings
Ability to regularly lift at least 50lbs., climb ladders, navigate in tight spaces, and use power tools.
Experience with loading and verifying system configuration programs.
In-depth knowledge of IT networks
Experience with AV technology software.
Strong computer skills with experience in drafting software (Bluebeam/AutoCAD).
Proficient troubleshooting and maintaining commercially integrated AV systems.
Experience working effectively on teams and leading team initiatives.
Knowledge of the current AV industry and commercial AV experience.
Familiarity with scripting languages.
Advanced AV manufacturer and industry certifications (e.g.,: QSC Level II, Dante Level 3, AVIXA CTS , CTS-D or CTS-I etc.).
Advanced Audio DSP knowledge and skills.
Experience working in an academic environment.

Location of Position
37 Dewey Field Rd rm 10. This position offers a hybrid opportunity to work both remotely and onsite and therefore requires that the incumbent reside within a commutable distance to Hanover, NH.
