Working closely with our faculty and staff on the Rindge NH campus, the Information Technology department is looking for a Media and Technical Support Specialist to join the team.
In this full-time, 12-month position, the Media and Technical Support Specialist will be primarily responsible for providing technical support services to faculty and staff which includes managing and supporting Audio/Visual technologies in the classrooms and at University events. Using previous experience and knowledge, this individual recommends best practices based on assessment and analysis of the locations and requirements of the class or program.
Experience and Qualifications:
The skills and abilities that you will bring to this role include:
Two plus years of experience providing hands-on audio/visual and technical support.
Previous experience in the higher education environment is preferred, but not necessary.
Experience with deploying and supporting projection and sound systems, video conferences, and using client software applications including Microsoft.
An Associate’s degree is preferred.
Technical certifications and experience preferred.
A+ and/or Microsoft certification is highly desired.
Ability to lift various materials up to 50lbs on an occasional basis.
Ability to work within a diverse environment effectively.
Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, faculty, staff, students, and other external constituents.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
