A Bachelor’s degree and one year of experience implementing and maintaining audiovisual systems, including control systems in Higher-Ed Environments OR an Associate’s degree and three years of experience; proficient with the use of personal computers (MAC OS, Windows, MS-Office suite) to gather, analyze, and summarize data; experience supporting web conferencing users and technologies; demonstrated ability to work as part of a team; and proven oral and written communication skills.
Avixa Certified Technology Specialist (CTS); Crestron Digital Media Certification – Engineer (DMC-E); and knowledge of networking architectures and topologies. About the Opportunity:
The Information Technology Group at Keene State College invites applicants for an Audiovisual Technology Specialist who will join the Learning and Collaboration Space Technology Service Line team in the focused support to faculty and to the Zoom Hybrid Classroom systems they use to provide remote learning for students. This is a 100% time, one-year term position. Starting salary range is $20.98-$26.66, commensurate with experience, and complemented by a generous benefits package.
The Information Technology Group is responsible for providing the campus with a reliable, flexible and secure technology infrastructure and the delivery of information technology services in support of academic excellence and efficient administrative services. The Information Technology Group is part of the larger USNH Enterprise Technology & Support (ET&S) Organization which provides a wide range of technology services and support for the students, faculty, and staff of Keene State College and across all USNH institutions, including services related to learning and collaboration spaces provided through the USNH Learning and Collaboration Space Technology Service Line.
This position supports the audiovisual systems in the Zoom Hybrid Classrooms and learning spaces and other related classroom technologies throughout the USNH campuses. The successful candidate will work as a team with other campus technicians, support personnel and student labor in order to promptly respond to and resolve trouble incidents; communicate to end-users via email, phone, Team Dynamix (TDx) tickets, and in-person meetings; and provide training opportunities for faculty on the best practice and use of remote web conferencing technologies.
