Provides technical support to users on either computing, media or telecommunications systems.
Analyzes, configures and sets-up information technology systems when requested by user departments.
Provides instructions on various information technology systems to faculty, staff and students.
Analyzes, configures and troubleshoots problems in network communications.
Analyzes departmental needs regarding information technology equipment, services, hardware and software; provides assessments of technology trends.,
Opens and tracks repair and work orders for products and services.,,,

Bachelors and No experience
Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed. No experience is required.

Ability to remain calm under pressure
Ability to operate related AV technologies required for the job, i.e. Town Hall events, conference room meetings, video conference based events (sometimes using Telepresence)
Ability to work with remote AV teams
Typical tasks include: analyzes, diagnoses, troubleshoots and repairs all problems associated with mixers, scalers, poe camera and cabling (Cat5-6/HDMI/AUX)
Experience with Media Site and Zoom technology is a plus. Ideal candidate may be asked to have flexible work schedule.
