As part of the team, one of your main responsibilities will be directly working on developing new ASP.NET MVC widgets within Visual Studio and modify existing ones to use within our CMS, Sitefinity.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintaining current AVIXA websites within Sitefinity
Test and troubleshoot web applications
Collaborate with other departments on projectsQualifications:
4 years of web related experience or equivalent mix of work and educational experience in lieu of professional work experience
1+ years designing and developing ASP.NET web applications
Experience with MVC framework, SQL, Web Services (REST/SOAP)
Functional knowledge of version control (VSTS and Git)
Ability to write unit tests, refactor existing code, and work with existing codebases
Ability to analyze business requirements and create solutions
Ability to troubleshoot problems and provide timely resolutions
Portfolio of previous work
Education: Bachelor’s degree is preferred, in an IT or CS related field.
Experience Level: Mid-level
Back-end Development knowledge: ASP.NET, Web APIs
Responsive web development experience
Google Analytics and SEO techniques
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlinesOther skills:
Strong critical thinking skills, organizational skills and ability to multi-task necessary
Good communications skills, including excellent spelling, grammatical skills, and verbal communication
