Serve in a hands-on capacity for priority work including serving the President's Office, strategic initiatives or campaigns, directing, filming, and editing
Oversee video and related multimedia for 360° films, podcasting, social media, interactive/animations, and storytelling efforts
Manage a team of film editors
Use independent judgment to assess the effectiveness of all video content and executional direction
Oversee concepting, execution and delivery of multimedia assets, in a variety of formats including narrative and text-driven video, audio, and photography
Partner with Creative Director to ensure design standards are upheld; coordinate with designers and photographers as needed
Partner with Director of Content Strategy to analyze data and various measures of engagement, to improve reach of content across channels.
Operate with a high level of autonomy and use independent judgment and creativity to deliver results
Direct activities pre/post production including casting, location scouting, permits, budgets, and shooting
Incorporate accessibility requirements and techniques (captioning, audio descriptions, use of color, contrast) into the team's workflow

5-7 years as an editor/film producer
2-3 years of multimedia team management
Bachelor's degree in film or journalism, multimedia/visual communications, or related field
Advanced Adobe Creative Cloud skills (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop, and Illustrator)
Experience with project management tools
Familiarity with video accessibly guidelines for WCAG 2.0 standards and audio description services (audio-visual translation)
Experience with video/audio hosting platforms such as WordPress, Vimeo, Simplecast, and YouTube
Experience with maintenance and operation of a variety of video camera equipment
An online portfolio with current projects
Keen knowledge of all aspects of film production, set and studio lighting, sound editing, motion graphics/animation, and emerging technology, formats, and distribution channels
Ability to work on multiple projects and complete high-quality work against strict and conflicting deadlines that are dictated by clients and management
Excellent content judgment
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
A positive, collegial attitude and a high level of professionalism
Background in producing multimedia and video for a non-profit organization
Experience with video storage/management services
