Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
System Implementation: The Lead Installation Technician will strive for Flawless Execution and On-Time Delivery for every project. To achieve these results, he/she will perform activities that include the following:
Ensure the 100% completion of all necessary installation steps to prepare a system for final hand off by working with the implementations team during all phases of the implementation process.
Ensure the completion of and adherence to Sensory’s Quality Assurance Process.
Upload captured AValytics asset information and site data necessary for efficient future support of all systems by the Client Solutions Center.
Operate within the timeline, plans, and terms defined by the Project Manager.
Perform specific installation functions like cable pulling, physical infrastructure installation, cable termination, and system assembly functions like the assembly and wiring of equipment enclosure as needed.
Involvement of system troubleshooting, final setup, testing, and client training.
Ensure the flawless execution of installed systems by completing the commissioning checklist as it pertains to each implementation.
Perform, as required, user orientation training of the completed system.
Communicate with the Project Manager and Design Engineer with progress updates and daily goals in order to complete the installation as planned.
Continuously look for ways to improve individually, and ways to improve the overall process. Provide feedback to others that will help them improve.

Education and Experience
The following education and experience is commonly required in the Installation / Client Services Technician role.
College degree or Associates degree in Information Technologies, Electronics, Telecommunicates or Engineering.
Industry relevant experience in audio-visual and other electro-mechanical installation, or in similar fields.
Industry certifications like InfoComm CTS, CTS-I, and CTS-D, and other related certifications.
Product experience from equipment manufacturers like Crestron, Extron, AMX, Biamp, Haivision, Planar, Cisco, and others.
Knowledge of basic IT network technology and operation.
Knowledge of common business software applications like Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word,
Position Reports to: Director of Operations
Typical Work Hours: 7:30am – 4:30am. Hours may vary as required by projects. Required to occasionally be on call.
Compensation: Hourly. 40+ hours per week. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
