Responsible for supervising and evaluating a technical team of full-time PC Analysts at the University Town Center (UTC) extension center. Assists in UTC's computer area’s design, installation, problem determination, applying fixes, project planning and providing detailed technical advice/documentation to the manager of Desktop Technology Solutions and support team. Provides technical support for college's desktop computers, related equipment, and software applications in computer classrooms/labs troubleshoots Audio Visual Technology problems and resolves with the assistance of the Classroom and Event Technology Manager. Supports administrative offices desktops and troubleshoots network problems and resolves with the assistance of the Network Services Manager.
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field plus two years of full time or equated experience in a computer technology field or a combination of earned education, certifications and years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's for a total of six years. 2. Must have supervised personnel a minimum of two years. 3. Microsoft MCSE certification preferred. 4. ITIL certifications preferred.
1. Applicant must be available to work Monday – Thursday 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Friday 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at University Town Center (UTC) extension center. There will be limited occasions when Saturday work may be required. 2. The work schedule subject to change based on the needs of the department. 3. Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written standard English. 4.
