RoomReady is looking to expand our engineering team with a creative, people-centered, Pre-Sales Engineer. We are looking for a solution-oriented engineer who is seeking a dynamic opportunity to be client focused. Ideal candidate will be an excellent storyteller who can assist with driving activities, opportunities and business for the overall success of RoomReady and our partners. Provide technical expertise in client engagements, in a relatable simple way.
Face-to-face client engagement.
Create high-level solutions with client satisfaction being paramount.
Work collaboratively with the sales team, as required, to recommend and close AV opportunities as an SME.
Possess empathy to clients needs and prove solutions that are uncomplicated.
Build and foster relationships with other partners and customers.
Provides knowledge transfer to clients on implemented solutions.
Complete project activities and provide deliverables on time and under budget
Support and participate in client briefings as the SME on AV and their solution.
Skills and Qualifications: As a Pre-Sales Engineer you need excellent communication and presentation skills combined with a technically sound understanding of some of the following: Cisco, Polycom, Crestron, AMX, Extron, Biamp, and other AV/VTC/UCC products. Specific required qualifications for the Pre-Sales Engineer position include:
At least 3 years of solid audio visual and collaboration experience focused on engineering enterprise class solutions for clients.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to adapt to various business needs.
Must be abreast of industry trends and new technologies.
Must be capable of working well both independently or as part of a team.
Cisco and/or Cisco partner experience is a plus.
