Purpose of Position
The AV Support Specialist provides support and training for AV technologies while ensuring the highest level of customer service for the faculty, staff, students of WKU, and outside clients. Reports to the AV Support Supervisor.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for technical support and training of end-users for ITS supported video conferencing technologies.
Responsible for technical support and training of end-users for ITS supported lecture capture systems.
Responsible for entering and resolving support tickets related to AV support.
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities
Assist with AVS supported events.
Other duties as required

Excellent and demonstrable troubleshooting skills.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum one year of relevant experience
Must possess a current valid Driver's License and maintain it in good standing in accordance with University policies.
Demonstrates an understanding of AV systems across a range of technologies generations.
Demonstrates an understanding of network technologies.
Ability to participate in on-call rotation for unplanned outages and work outside of regular University hours, typically planned in advance, as needed.
Must be able to provide and maintain Internet connectivity from personal residence and be able to travel to the Bowling Green campus in a time frame congruent to the group's on-call policy.
Must be able to work from a ladder, lift up to 30lbs. and be able to differentiate colors without assistance.
Salary Grade: 106 Hourly Range: $13.26 - $17.02
